  Old style bakery with old style bakery nosh - thank goodness !! I swear if I see one more fancy schmancy cream filled gastronomic delight I will scream. Sometimes you just want normal bakery fare. And these guys do really good pies and their sangers are as fresh as can be, great filling selections. They do salads for the rabbit food people and their slices and cakey things are genuinely old fashioned. Really top stuff. I heard they have another store as well (?) but the one on Abbott St is on the way in/out so that's great. Staff are fantastic even at ungodly hours of the morning and the coffee is great which helps.

  The best wholemeal bread! Great selection of sweet slices, pies, rolls, cakes, breads, drinks etc. One of the few true bakeries around :-)
